Q: I have a Honda Accord 2003 EX sedan, and I want to install some upgrades on it. Help?
Okay so I have a 2003 Honda Accord EX sedan that is grayish blue. http://chicagosportscars.com/cars/gallery/1142822.jpg That is not my car, but looks exactly like it. I am looking to upgrade the car, but not any performance upgrades. 1.Xenon headlights: I would like to get the bluish white look on my headlights, and any links or help doing this would be great 2. Spoiler: I want a nice spoiler that doesn't really stand out or anything just makes it look nicer. 3. I might get a sound system and/or window tinting, but don't need any help with that 4. Tail lights: this is a minor concern, but if cool ones could be installed for cheap then help would be appreciated. 5. Floor/Pedal lights?: my friend has these lights that are down by his pedals that look really nice. Any information on these would be great. Thank you for all help.

A: Im not sure what you want help with? If you want instructions on installing them or where to get them.. 1. im pretty sure you can get those lights at any autozone or checker. or online try ebay or andysautosports.com 2. uh any spoiler will make you stand out, but they have tons of options on ilovebodykits.com 3. stock sound system in an 03 accord is probly fairly descent, but definatly tint your windows! window tint and custom wheels are the two best things to do to your ride to make it look better. and it takes ALOT of patience to tint yourself so i recomend getting a pro ha 4. try ebay for cheap ones. they have so many options for any honda on there. http://www.andysautosport.com/honda/2003_2007_accord/lights/tail_lights/ 5.are you talking about neon? autozone has those neon lights for interior that look really good. and all they do is plug into the cigarete lighter. although i would recomend wiring them straight to the fuse box it would be easy and look nicer. but ebay has everything cheap try there first hope this helps

Q: Should I buy a 2003 Honda Accord EX with Salvage Title and have body damage to it and cost $7,995?
The car got navigation system, drive well. The body damage will cost $500 to fix. Is this car worth buying?

A: absolutely NOT. even if it has the slightest body damage to it, it could have much worse mechanical damage!!!

Q: What if time: Can I put a Chevy Generation IV small block v8 in my 2003 Honda Accord EX coupe?
I'm an ex- 2006 Impala SS owner (horrible accident, don't ask), and I was gifted with an Accord. I miss my American muscle, as much as I appreciate the gift. I like the style of the Accord (and the fuel efficiency, of course!), and I just happened to start thinking, what if? Is this a physical impossibility? If it is indeed possible, what might it cost? Would a mechanic think I'm crazy? (You don't have to answer that part.) What alse could I do to give my car some "oomph"? Thanks for the ideas, and I'm amused at some of the other responses. I *did* say the Honda was a gift and this is a "what if" scenario. "ricers." LMAO-If only you knew. I actually simply wanted to know if it could be done, and if so, how.

A: You'd better not EVER put that engine in some foreign P.O.S.

Q: 2003 Honda Accord EX-V6- Can I still get service on recalled parts?
I just bought the car and was wondering if anyone knew or could find how long honda performs service on recalls. There was a recall on automatic transmissions back in 04 and I am not sure it was serviced yet. Would they still have to honor the recall now?? Also, my car has 98000 miles and I was wondering if I should have any major services done at 100k to keep the car in good condition. I want it to last a while.

A: Check the V.I.N. at the dealership to see if your car qualifies, and/ or has already been serviced. As Per http://www.totalrecallinfo.com Make : HONDA Model : ACCORD Year : 2003 Build Dates : 20020606 - 20030903 NHTSA CAMPAIGN ID Number : 04V176000 Date Owner's Notified: 20040427 Date Received by ODI: 20040415 Date Added to Databse: 20040420 Manufacturer's Involved: HONDA (AMERICAN HONDA MOTOR CO.) Q: How Do you Turn off the maintance required light on an 2003 honda accord ex v6?
i know for sure its just warning me about the oil change its going to need, and usually the dealer does it but I'm not going to them this time, (there way to expensive) but yeah if you kno want to do please let me know thanks! and no its not a check engine light..

A: Just hold down the odometer button and turn the key to on without starting the car. Wait 20 seconds (it may or may not flash). Then after the light goes out your done.

Q: Is it possible to hard wire my iPod to my 2003 Honda Accord EX Coupe without losing my CD player?
I went to a car audio store and they said they can do it but I would lose my CD player. I think they may be wrong though because my changer is part of the stock deck. I don't want to replace my deck or lose my CD changer. Is there anything I can do besides use an FM transmitter that gives sub-par quality?

A: I found the best thing since sliced bread...http://www.crutchfield.com/S-9oDEWuNVIo6/cgi-bin/prodview.asp?i=142FMMOD01 It's not wireless so there's no chance for interference. Not to be confused with an FM transmitter. It basically adds an AUX port to ANY radio. It feeds your audio signal from a headphone jack ( or RCA cables) by FM modulation, directly into the antenna input on your radio bypassing the antenna when on, allowing the radio to work as normal when off. This IS the answer. Totally versatile.

Q: honda accord ex 2003?
I have a 2003 honda accord ex. Today i noticed that the display on the dashboard was not lit up for the clock and radio.the clock and radio and cd player all work.what could be the problem?thank you

A: This is a common problem with the '03. Unfortunately it's also an expensive problem - about $1000 to fix. I had a '94 with a similar problem and had to live with it. Honda has published a service advisory on this issue, but no recall. Check out the links below, as some people were able to get results from American Honda. Hope this helps.

Q: How much would buy my 2003 Honda Accord EX coupe for?
Blue book is $17,500. BUT, the cd player doesn't work, the inside lights don't work and has 52k miles. How much can I realistically get for it?

A: start at $15,500 but dont take less than $14,500. all you need to do is spend $200 on a cheap cd player instaled and change the bulbs on the inside and as long as everything else is good then you could get$17000 for it

Q: 2003 honda accord ex - I am Starting to get a shake on acceleration only coming from under the front end.?
I jacked the car up and took a look at the drive train. How much play should there be where the cv joint yoke goes into the transfer case. I am talking more about the up and down. not the in and out.I am thinking none to very little. I think have to much.

A: if its the passenger side shaft, check the extension shaft that goes from the transaxle to the CV shaft. there is a support bearing for this shaft and if it moves enough to feel or see, it probablyneeds to be replaced.

Q: Honda Accord 2003 EX V6 - How to replace a broken tail light assembly?
I backed into a truck's trailer hitch and cracked the driver's side rear tail light assembly. I need to replace it and don't want to spend the $140 quoted to me by the dealer for labor. Is this easy to do yourself? If so, any pointers? Thanks!

A: Could get a replacement from an auto wrecker, just look for the screws to remove and unplug the electrical. Is pretty straight forward. If you pull one from an auto wrecker you will have some experience. If still afraid to do get some estimates to repair from any good auto repair shop, does not have to be a dealer.

Q: How do you pull stock radio from 2003 Honda Accord ex?

A: you really need the pictures and the instructions to attempt to do this yourself. its not an easy thing to do. if the problem is with the radio display not working then take the car to a honda dealer. honda extended the warranty on the display to 7 years of 105,000 miles and they will replace the radio display for no charge if you're under that mileage hope that helps
