Q: 2004 Honda Accord LX with 42 k miles for $ 10,000, is this a good buy?
I am thinking about buying a 2004 Honda Accord LX automatic transmission with only 42k miles. Unfortunately the car was in accident and it was repaired but it has some scratches and small dent on the roof. I just checked kelly's blue book and the car is worth $13,500. Is this a good buy?

A: Yes, that is a very good deal. Here are some Pros/Cons for you Pros- It's a Honda Very low mileage Ver good price Cons- Was in an accident May have future problems Not good condition I would get it. But keep note for ANYTHING that happens within the first 30 days. If bad things happen he will have to take the car back.

Q: How/Where to get a spare key made for Honda Accord LX 2004?
I recently purchased a Honda Accord LX 2004, but was only given one key. This key has the remote door lock, truck buttons on the actual key (instead of seperately like some cars have). Is there any way I can get a duplicate key with the remote just like the one I have? Or do I have to get a spare key without the remote?

A: The key is actually coded for your car. You will have to go to the dealership. It will run you about 100.00. Honda lazer cuts there keys. I would have it done by them. Oh you may have to go to the original dealer, or they maybe able to look up your code.

Q: Is the 2004 Honda Accord LX rear, disc or drum brakes?
Can anyone tell me if the rear brakes are drums or disc for a 2004 Honda Accord LX 4cyl.

A: The LX had drums in the back- the EX had discs all around.

Q: Anybody have any opinions about a 2004 Honda Accord LX?
I'm thinking of buying this car. The carfax looks pretty good, though there aren't any service records for maintenance, etc. I'm going to test drive it and have a mechanic check it out. However, I want to know if anyone has any experience with these or knows anything I should know about this particular year of Honda Accords. Thanks.

A: I have that car now and I love it! I've had it for 1 and half now and its perfect! Good Luck!

Q: 2004 Honda Accord LX Maintenance Required light blinks 10 times when key is inserted?
I recenty purchased a Certified 2004 Honda Accord LX from a dealer. In the recent days the maintenance required light starts blinking when I insert the ignition key. After 10 blinks, the light goes off. Pls. let me know the reason why the indicator blinks. I remember the dealer telling the car is completely serviced before its delivered to me. So, I'm not sure why it is bliking.

A: hummm...have a Honda Acura and when mine blinks I take it to my service tech as he will put it on the machine and tell me what it is....some will do it for a small cost or no cost....

Q: how much should I pay for a 2004 honda accord lx with 25,000 miles on it in very good condition?
The car is listed at the dealer for $14,500. This seems to be a fair price based upon the Kelly Book numbers- but I get conflicting advice about how much I should bargain with the dealer on this. Any advice on what price I should ask?

A: $4000 to $6000

Q: I just recently bought a 2004 Honda Accord LX?
I traded my 2006 Jeep Liberty in for a 2004 Honda Accord to save on gas, but I've only had this car for 2 months and its already had stuff go wrong that I've had to have it go in the shop 3 times! If I trade again for something newer, I will really be in the whole with adding more money on another car loan, any advice on what I should do???

A: bad move, never trade down... however, i'd just ride it out...

Q: Used 2004 Honda Accord 2.4 LX 2 Door Coupe?
I came across a 2004 Honda Accord LX 2 Door Coupe for 8,495. Carfax report is clean, the car has 85,357 miles. To all the Honda experts, is this a good buy, Hondas last long with proper maintenance? I have to do a test drive though. Currently have a 95 Caddy Sedan Deville with 109,000 miles, that has been in and out of the shop every month of 2009, and I had it with the car.

A: Thanks a really good deal with good mileage. Your car should last you well over 200,000 miles.

Q: how much would it cost to make a copy of a 2004 honda accord lx?
i recently bought it but the owner lost the original keys and alarm for it and had only have the spare. how much would it cost to replace the key for the honda?

A: In my area, it costs around $150 because it has to be programmed by Honda. It can be done at a non-Honda key place, but it takes more time.

Q: How do I remove the change holder from my 2004 Honda Accord LX?
I am needing to do some stuff behind the storage area of by 2004 Honda Accord LX. I am talking about the space right behind the gear shifter thingy where you can put CDS and other such junk. And in front of that there is the cigarette lighter port and the little change holder. I guess that is what you would call it since it has a sticker on it saying "NOT AN ASHTRAY". I need to get that change holder out so that I can remove that storage box. I know how to get the box out I just need to know how to get the change holder out. If you can help please!!! Also detailed instructions and pictures possibly would help.

A: Are you trying to put in aftermarket ipod interface in?

Q: Why is my 2004 Honda Accord Making a humming noise?
My 2004 Honda Accord LX is making a humming noise on the passenger side under the hood, the service light has just come on as well. It sounds like it gets a little louder when you accelerate. What could it be?

A: It could be a bad wheel bearing or axle and the check engine light may be something else not related. Check your tire pressure and look for any uneven tread wear. Also look for any noise coming from the transmission, engine or exhaust. The key here is to pay attention to when the noise is audible. Especially if it can be heard when not moving vs heard when moving or can be heard during both movement and non. Without more details or being there, if you only hear it while the car is moving I'd say it's a bad wheel bearing and your CEL came on for another reason.

Q: 2008 Hyundai Sonata GLS or 2004 Honda Accord LX?
I'm going to buy either one of these used cars, but can't figure out which is better. I really like Accords, but its funny how a 4 year younger Sonata with half the miles is the same price. I drove a Sonata one time and it was actually pretty nice.

A: Hyundai is an alright car and I hear great things about them all the time. I can also say the same for Honda. Honda has been around for almost 50 years, believe it or not, and is a company known for it's high quality and excellence in engineering. If I had to choose one of the two.... I'd go Honda. Hope this helps.

Q: can a 2004 honda accord lx play mp3 cds in its standard audio system?
