Q: What do I need to buy from Best Buy to get my i-pod to work in my 2007 Honda Accord?
I have a 2007 Honda Accord and I am looking for something I can get at Best Buy to hook up to the back of my stock stereo. My stock stereo has a CD/AUX button. Has anyone hooked up their i-pod to their accord? What did you buy and use? How does it sound? P.S. I don't want a FM transmitter as they get static...
A: if the radio is XM ready and there is a xm button you can use this interface
full radio controls
all the ipod text will be display on the Honda radio ,and it will also charge the ipod

Q: why does my 2007 Honda Accord 4 cylinder get bad gas mileage?
I have a 2007 Accord sedan, 4 cylinder. I am suppose to get 21 city, 31 highway. I have a 17.1 gallon tank. I believe I am filling up every 6 days and get less than 300 miles per tank. I got rid of my Jeep so I can save on gas but now I feel like this isn't THAT much better. How do I get 21 mpg city? I am trying to not hit the accelerator too hard from now on....
A: Gentle control inputs....avoid the brakes when you can and don't mash the accelerator. Nervous twitchy drivers are never good with either fuel economy or performance.
Make sure the thing is in good operating condition as well.
Q: Buying a 2007 Honda Accord? Is the 4 door more reliable than the Coupe?
I'm looking at buying a 2007 Honda Accord. Is the coupe any less reliable than the standard four door Accords. I'm looking for an auto that I can trust will last 130K to 150K miles before being spent. I like the coupes better, but don't want to give up quality for looks. Any help would be appreciated.
A: Its the same car. Pretty much any car on the road can do 130k miles unless its really abused. The better you care of it the longer it will last.
Q: Do I need a code for my stock 2007 Honda Accord Stereo?
I just bought a brand new Honda Accord from the dealership. Someone told me that anytime my battery is disconnected (I'm thinking way down the line when I have to change it) that I'll need a special code in order to reset my stereo. (Kind of like an anti-theft device.) The dealership said it should be in the info I got in my glove box, but it's not. Will I even need one?
A: yes you will need one it shood be in your owners manuel but if the reason you want it is so your stereo still works after you change batteries they sell a cigerette outlet adapter that you plug into it before you replace the battery so it keeps your stereo presets and your stereo working fine
Q: i have a new 2007 honda accord that i been driving for a bout 2 and a half years now. recently the brakes star?
i have a new 2007 honda accord that i been driving for a bout 2 and a half years now. recently the brakes started to vibrate a lot when i would step on them. the car is still basically new so i dont know what could be wrong. can someone out there give me any suggestions to what might be wrong?
A: probably slightly warped rotors. If you haven't had brakes yet, you're probably due anyway. Usually that vibration can be cured by getting the rotors turned, but sometimes they need to be replaced.
Get it in to a dealer or brake shop soon - you don't want to drive around with questionable brakes!
Q: What car would be a better choice: a 1998 Dodge Dakota or 2007 Honda Accord?
The thing is the Dakota would be free and has 120,000 miles while i would have to pay regular price for the Accord which has 33,000 miles. The Accord is in great condition and the Dakota in condition what would be expected out of a 11 year old truck. Your input is greatly appreciated.
A: They both are bad. One the Dodge is a piece of s**t, and two the accord is just plain ugly. A real truck is a 1997 Ford Explorer XLT. This truck lasts forever and is way better than a Dakota. Who buys "mid" size trucks. If you are going to get a truck, then get a real one like a F-150. Small trucks are bad, and I bet the one you want has rust, no leather, and is a ugly color. Plus those engines fail and when they do it is bad. Unlike in an Explorer, the V8s are extremely reliable and last a lifetime up to 300,000 miles. If you want to drive around pretending to be Asian, get the accord. If you want to drive around pretending to be a black, poor, or Spanish, get the Dakota. If you want to look like a man and own the road, get the Explorer.
Q: Where to buy Navigation disc for Honda Accord 2007?
I bought a used Honda Accord 2007, and it has navigation.
The only problem is, I guess the disc was stolen from the auction.
I know that NAVTEQ sells these things new for $185, and the manual costs $30, but is there a place where I can buy one cheaper???
Thanks!
A: You can buy one off of eBay and fumble through without the manual.
How long ago did you buy the car? If the person before you already had bought and installed the latest software you can not use an older disc then what is installed. The navigation disc installs software that can not revert back to older discs. ie: 2009 software installed you can't use a 2008 or 2007 disc.
The thing about getting it from the Honda site is you know it will work.

Q: Changing climate A/C filter in a 2007 Honda Accord.?
I will like to change my A/C filter on my 2007 Honda Accord. I know it's behind the glove compartment which has to be removed, How big of a job is this and how many screws to remove?
A: There are no screws. There are stops, one on each side of the glove box. I forget if yours is the removable style or the kind you push in from each side, but once you get the stops out of the way the glove box will drop down and you're there. Tip: be sure to match the arrows which indicate the direction of air flow. You'll see them on the plastic frame and on the filter element.
Q: How can I replace the front reading lights for my 2007 Honda Accord with red LEDs?
I want to have a light that I can turn on without blinding us at night, like if I or my passenger needs to find something quickly while its dark at night.
Anyone know where I can get specs for the light bulb? I don't want to get the wrong one or are they a standard bulb?
A: DON'T use red leds at night. It's extremely straining on your eyes. Get a calmer color like blue or green otherwise you'll have vision problems while driving almost guaranteed. (experience). Besides, you can't read anything with a single led at night and red is harder to detect than the brighter colors. Just buy one of those ricer cigarette lighter lights from pepboys with white leds.
Q: How easy is it to change a headlight on a 2007 Honda Accord?
Both lamps work on high beam, but only the right one works on low beam. Is this as easy as changing a light bulb? Is it something I could do? Or should a dealer do it? How much would it cost?
I used to change headlamps on my cars back in the 70s when they were just big round bulbs. I have no idea what's involved with this one.
A: mush easier now most from back side twist housing pull out bulb can do both 5 minutes shouldnt touch bulb with bear fingers type into search box
