Q: Auxillary Input for 2007 Honda Accord LX??? What kind and How much?
I have 2007 honda accord lx. i just bought an ipod and i want to get auxillary input in my car. I know about the ipod link 2.0 from honda but that is way too pricey. Can anyone please suggest auxillary input and how much it costs? if you can post a link from where i can buy I would really appreaciate it
A: Most auxiliary inputs are around the same price as the musiclink. I bought this for my '03 Accord, installed it myself, and absolutely LOVE it! http://www.crutchfield.com/p_581PA15HON/USA-Spec-iPod-Interface.html?search=usa+spec+honda&ssi=0 It is a bit pricey, but think of it as an investment. There is no comparison to the fantastic sound quality you get from this. You could buy an FM transmitter for $30, but they have a tendency to break.
Q: What is a good website to buy after market parts for a 2007 honda accord lx coupe.?
I am looking to buy an exhaust system and cold air intake.
A: try this.. v6p.net its a forum, but im sure you will find everything you need to know for your accord there!
Q: How do I connect my ipod to my 2007 Honda Accord LX?

What's the simplest least expensive way?
Instructions would be helpful.
A: I found the best thing since sliced bread...http://www.crutchfield.com/S-9oDEWuNVIo6/cgi-bin/prodview.asp?i=142FMMOD01
It's not wireless so there's no interference. Not to be confused with an FM transmitter. Basically it adds an AUX input to ANY radio. No searching for a clean channel.
It feeds your audio signal from a headphone jack ( or RCA cables) by FM modulation, directly into the antenna input on your radio bypassing the antenna when on, allowing the radio to work as normal when off. It comes with an On/Off switch.
This is the answer. Totally versatile.

Q: Is 24,348 good for a 2007 Honda Accord LX Coupe?
I live in Germany and the car sales man says that this car in the states would cost 27,148 in the states. I was woundering if this was true. It also comes with 6year/75,000 mile coverage. I would like to hear from people who sale Hondas or have bought one of these cars. Thanks!
The price includes Ziebart ( rust protection, sound deadener, fabric protection for your car)
A: the dealer is overstating the U.S. retail value by about $5,000. According to Kelly Blue Book (the acknowledged guide for vehicle values) a 2007 4 cylinder averages $21,500 and the 6 cylinder is $22,500. That assumes it is a used car with mileage of 12,000 miles.
the rustproffing and fabric protectors don't add anything to the value if its already on the car---they can't take it off. The Zeibart in the US is about $350; fabric protector is not worth anything. However, the extended warranty probably adds about $500 because the US warranty on the powertrain is 5/60,000 and the base is 3/36,000 so you're not getting that much more protection. Dealers would sell that for about $1500, so the max retail value would be 24,000 if its a V-6.
In the US the 2007 model is heavily discounted because it is to be replaced in September with an all new body style that will impact the value of the 2007. That's why I used the used car value above. the new car values by Kelly are 22,000 for the 4 cyl and 25,000 for the 6 cyl. The used car prices are what you should use because it will have that value as soon as you drive it off the lot.
You can go to www.kbb.com to do the research for new car values yourself. You can also go to www.edmunds.com for the new car prices as that site may have information on current discounts.
I have an Accord and its a great value if you can get it for the right price.
hope that helps
Q: What are your thoughts on the 2007 Honda Accord LX 4dr Sedan (2.4L 4cyl 5A)?
I researched reviews online but I couldn't find much on the LX trim. All I came across were reviews for the EX-L.
I would like some reviews from LX owners to help me make a decision as to what car to buy.
Thank you.
:]
A: I asked a question in ford about why ford cars had such poor recall problems and to make things short it turns out the accord is the most recalled car I could find with 184 recalls since 1990.To give you an idea how honda stacks up against the north american car manufacturers and only their american divisions.Let me provide you with some unbiased numbers and a link to verify them.Chrysler including dodge and jeep makes 81 different car models and has had 1752 recalls if you divide the recalls by the amount of models you get an avg of recalls per model chryslers is 21.6.Ford makes 99 models and had 2147 recalls since 1990 and they have a recall avg of 21.6.Gm makes 197 models and had 3425 recalls for an avg of 17.5 recalls per model.Honda only makes 19 models and has had 514 recalls since 1990 and has a recall avg of 27 per model higher than any of the big three.Chrysler by itself makes more car models than toyota with 48 and honda with 19 combined and you could probably throw most of nissan in there as well. You can buy whatever car you want I am just pointing out some facts to you and now for the link it will help you choose a good car from whoever you decide to purchase and should you decide to purchase the accord I would bring up the recall numbers and try to get the cost of the car down as any car with that type of record should be cheap . http://www.mycarstats.com/autos_recalls/auto_recalls.asp
Q: 2007 Honda Accord LX?
Does the Honda Accord LX come with an oil change percentage indicator like the new civics?
A: Press the Trip meter button quickly and the display should change between the following
from General Odometer
1st push Trip A
2nd push Trip B
3rd push Oil Life Indicator
This indicator shows the Life of the oil in percentages in degrees of 10 so it will change from 100 to 90 to 80 and so on.
Maintenance indicator (a little amber wrench) will come on when you have reached 20% to give you time to make your oil change appointment.
If you do the service at your local dealer they will reset the indicator. If your local quickie place does not know how to reset it I would question if I wanted them working on my $20,000 investment.
I hope this helps

Q: 2007 camry LE vs honda accord LX, both are base model. Which car is better to buy?
I've heard 2007 camry gives a problem with engine and transmission. How is honda accord ride feels like and their reliability.
A: Honda is better across the board. Toyota really let a lot of people down on their 2007 Camry. Hope it doesn't continue with other new models like Tundra and new Highlander.
Q: Do 2007 Honda Accords lx models have Aux input?
I;m not talkin about like an actual input located in the interior where you can just plug it in, but like at the back of the Radio or Reciever.
A: Yes, there is a place for and AUX input/ adapter behind the radio. I think this is the best adapter http://musiclink.honda.com/Comp_Veh.html , you can buy comparable ones for less and if you have some other brand of MP3 player - they will both give you CD quality sound from you ipod or MP3 player. Hope this helps!
Q: What can I do with my Honda accord 2007 Leased car?
I have a 2007 Honda accord LX 5 speed automatic.
my lease ends end of this year. (with 3 yrs contract)
But my current milege is only 20,000. (12,000 per yr)
And my montly payment is $316 with $1000 down also,
payoff Amount is $16,081.79
Is it good idea to purchase this car?
if i purchase this car, what's the best montly price for me??
and for how long?? please help..!! thank you..
yes..!! is it good idea to purchase this car after lease contract ends?
A: Based on the information you have provided, you will be within the mileage limits so you will have no mileage penalty to worry about. One important thing though, a "pay-off" is different than a "residual value". Your "payoff" is what you can buy the car for today. This typically includes any remaining payments plus the residual value. The residual value is the guaranteed future value of your car (which was determined at the beginning of the lease) for which you can purchase the car for (if you decide to) at the end of the lease. My point in making that clear is that what you can buy the car for at the end of the lease will be a smaller amount than what it is today because your payoff today includes all payments still remaining.
Anyway, the best way to ball-park a monthly payment for 5 year loans is to think of it as $20 per month for every $1,000 financed (with good credit). So a $15,000 loan for 5 years would = approx 300/mo.
As to if you should buy the car at the end of it's lease, that's a personal decision. One of the biggest advantages of a lease is that it allows you to trade fast w/o worrying about negative equity or the value of your used car at the end of the lease. Personally, if you can lease the same car for about the same payment but get a new one, why would you not ?
Automobiles are the biggest ticket items that we purchase that actually are depreciating assets. No point in investing anymore is something like that than you actually have to. Obviously, I would re-;lease another new car but that's a personal decision. All car buying decisions are personaly one's.
Q: Auxiliary Jack on the Honda 2007 Accord Coupe?

Q: 2007 Honda Accord Sedan Value Package VS. the LX?
Is there a signifance difference?
A: The posters who have answered "no" are correct. In addition to the items indicated by EMBSikorsky, the VP also rides on slightly narrower tires (though the wheels can accommodate the wider ones), and has no rear anti-roll bar.
As near as I can tell, the most substantial of these differences is the manually operated passenger side rear view mirror, which would be a nuisance if you adjust that mirror often (you have to lean over to the passenger side to reach the joystick).
If you can find a color you like among the more limited VP choices, all of the other differences are negligible, and hardly worth the extra $1500 to move up to an LX.
BTW: If you care about the stereo having only 2 speakers, you should know that the car comes pre-wired for at least 4, and a set of 2 Honda speakers for the back, which can be installed with nothing more than a screwdriver, will set you back a whopping $40.
With the incentives that Honda is offering right now, you can get a VP for around $15,000. Even the FIT and the Civic, each of which is smaller and skimpier, will probably cost more. At the moment, there's probably no better value than the VP.
